If you don't already have an archive manager that can handle rar files, try the freeware 7-Zip. There is also a no-install rar file on the downloads page.

As I played a "Knight" character, not all abilities will be shown in-game, but here are the 24 abilities I found out.įrom top to bottom, starting at 1 for the first block and ending with 39 for the last block, the listed abilities are as follows: 1.WarfareĨ.ĩ.ġ0.ġ1.ġ2.ġ3.Ģ2.Ģ4.Ģ7.Ģ9.ģ0.ģ1.ģ6.ģ8.ģ9.Other than the EE save editor, you can use CheatEngine (as mentioned above) to add/change skill and talent points, etc.įor the install you would either need to uncheck some extra 'offers', or install it while offline.

The lines of code for one ability look like this: If you follow OPs guide, right below the attributes, you'll find the abilities.

Here's how to edit the abilities listed in "globals.lsx" (game version 3.0.165.9). You now have to specify the "Create Package" paths seperately.

The easy adding of tags is also cool for tags you miss, like mystic or scholar (maybe even undead? never tested that).ĮDIT: The program you download from the forum changed its UI for the 2nd tab a bit. I hope some will find this useful, either because they have not left Act 1 yet so they can respec anyway, or because they do not want to lose non-skillbook skills like I do. Copy that edited save file to where you got your original save file from and you are done. You should still have all the file paths from before, so just click on "Create Package" and your edited save file gets created. Delete the original copy of your save file from that folder and open the 2nd tab of the program. Back to the 3rd tab of the program, convert your "globals.lsx" back to "globals.lsf". Now that you are done with your editing, save your changes to globals.lsx. If you want to edit more things, search some more online or find out yourself what does what. In that thread you downloaded the program from you can also find a list showing you which attribute in the file corresponds to the one in-game, but that is quite a hassle and just resetting your character is far easier. That basic editing is what I currently know of.

Other characters you find by just repeating the search from the start. So if you kind of messed up in your party composition and there is no one with SCHOLAR, just add another node with that in it. If you scroll a bit down, you find "Tags", where you can see your social tags like OUTLAW or even PETPAL. This is superior to the in-game respec in that you do not lose abilities gained from things like elf flesh eating. to their default value and giving yourself the respective unallocated points. You can give yourself more, take some away or, more importantly, reset your character by changing the actual attributes etc. Here you can see your currently not allocated attribute, combat ability, civil ability and talent point. (There is probably another way to identify them, but this is how I did it so far). This brings you to the attributes of that one character and lets you actually identify which character you are looking at. Next search for (without the and exactly that, plural). Everything you now see defines one of your characters in your save file. This brings you to any character that is currently a player character. lsx file with something like Notepad++ and search for (without the and with the " and spaces). Onto the 3rd tab, your "Input file path" is the newly created "globals.lsf" and "Output file path" you set to "globals.lsx" in the same folder. Do not click on "Create Package", that is the last step which creates your save file after you edited it. Next click on "Extract package", which is the 2nd button there. "Destination / source path" will be that same folder. The "Package path" will be your copied save file in the designated folder. Now we open the program previously downloaded and go to the 2nd tab. lsv file to another folder and rename the original to something like, just to make sure that if you mess up, you still have your original one.
